Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Training CITI Training (Human Research Protections and Research and HIPAA Privacy Protections) is a required training course provided under the UCI Office of Research that all clinical research teams must complete in order to conduct or be involved in a clinical research study at UCI.
Epic
Epic is the electronic health record used by UCI Health. Appointment scheduling in all UCI Health departments, including imaging, Laboratories, and CCR Nursing and Lab Services is done in Epic. Appointments scheduled in Epic that are for a research study will be linked to the study so that participant privacy is protected. This linking also ensures the costs from the visit are sent to the study team rather than to the study participant.
OnCore CTMS (access requires HS account) OnCore is a web-based clinical trials management system (CTMS) used for the management of UCI clinical research studies. The system enables the UCI research community to maintain and manage the planning and performance for all research studies at the study and study participant level, supports research billing and financials, simplifies data management, and streamlines clinical research operations.
